‘봄모이 읽었수다’ is a casual reading and discussion session for a Korean book selected by the bookstore keeper, held in relaxed, conversational Korean. The group is limited to five participants or fewer. Anyone with a beginner-level understanding of Korean is welcome! While participants can use English and Korean, the instructor will primarily speak Korean. On a side, it’s a great opportunity to meet with fellow Korean learners or language exchange buddies!
사랑방 모임/bommoi salon
The Sarangbang gathering at bommoi (in short, salon bommoi) is an irregular event hosted by creators from within and outside Singapore, who come to bommoi to lead the sessions. We plan to start with themes around paintings and books and to collaborate with creators from various fields.
봄모임/bommoim
‘봄모임’ is a reading gathering hosted by Bommoi. Each event consists of a series of reading sessions with a maximum of 8 participants. The theme of each event will change based on the book title selected.
